Dear Parents,
Author’s Day will be this Thursday in the Central Cafeteria from 9:30am to 10am. Students will be coming around and sharing their stories they have written with adults during this time. Anyone is welcome to join the fun! Just show up on Thursday if you decide to come!
Play Day will be on May 11th. The first grade classes will go from 12:45-2:45 at the city park. Each class will need 3 parent volunteers but all parents are welcome to join the fun. You can just meet us at the park around 12:40 if you would like to join the fun! All students need to wear tennis shoes on this day.
A friendly reminder that our field trip will be on Tuesday, May 15th. We will be going to Milford Nature Center, north of Junction City. We will leave Central at 8:30. Unfortunately, our buses are full and parents will need to drive themselves to Milford (or carpool with someone), and meet us there. Please do not bring any siblings on this field trip. This is a special day for the first graders. All adults that are planning to attend the field trip will need to bring their own lunch as well. All students will be having a sack lunch from school. Your child’s lunch account will be charged on that day. Part of our field trip will be a nature hike. Your child needs to wear tennis shoes on this day as well. Please no flip flops or sandals.
